Toyota Genuine Parts

Toyota Genuine Parts

You'll want to fill your vehicle with manufacturer-approved parts for various reasons. A key one is that they come from the same assembly line your Toyota vehicle came from, meaning they're made of the same high-quality materials and manufacturing as your vehicle.

Another advantage of using these genuine parts is the variety available. If it belongs in or on your Toyota, then there's a part you can order. Some of the pieces you can order are the following:

  • Tires
  • Brakes
  • Batteries
  • Oil Filters
  • Service Fluids

Cabin air filters, wiper blades, and engine air filters are just a handful of the offerings. We encourage you to regularly check our parts specials page, as new coupons and specials on parts rotate.

When you can trust parts like these, you'll have no issue installing them. Perhaps you have a DIY project or prefer to perform at-home repairs? With these parts, you'll be in good hands. You'll also have the option to get your ordered parts professionally installed by our team of expert technicians. You can indicate this when you order your parts and speak with one of our customer service specialists.

Benefits of Regular Toyota Service

Benefits of Regular Toyota Service

Whether you want to have our technicians service your Toyota, or you want to do it yourself, timely maintenance and repairs have many benefits. First and foremost, you'll extend the life of your car, especially if you take care of its needs before they get out of control.

Routine maintenance services like oil changes, tire rotations, etc., are essential because they prevent your car from sustaining damage, overheating, and other problems. According to AAA, this protects your car, as well as you and your passengers, from harm.*

Every car and situation is different, but routine maintenance and occasional repairs can increase the chance that you won't need expensive repairs down the line, which could save money.

Signs You Need Service

Signs You Need Service

There are many ways to tell that it's time to service your car. In many cases, a dashboard warning light will pop up, which is your car's way of telling you it needs some TLC. These lights can signal that it's time for an oil change, battery replacement, brake service, emission service, etc.

If you delay servicing your ride, you may begin to notice other signs. You'll want to take swift action if you notice the following:

  • Burning smells: A burning smell typically means something is overheated, likely due to a lack of fluid. For example, if your engine overheats, it's usually because there's little to no engine oil caused by extended driving or a leak.
  • Squealing or grinding noises: Does your car squeal whenever you press the brake pedal? Do you hear grinding noises when you accelerate? These could mean several different things, including faulty brakes or a transmission issue.
  • Flickering lights: If your car's interior lights flicker when you start, that often means the battery is likely losing power due to age. Similarly, if your headlights dim randomly or your car won't start, that could signal a battery problem. Check the battery terminal for corrosion buildup and wipe it away with a dry substance. Then, if needed, you can try to jump-start the battery, which is meant to be a temporary solution.
  • Favoring one side of the road: If you take your hands off the wheel, it's natural for your car to slightly drift slightly. However, if you're trying to steer and it's fighting you to stay on one side of the road, that often means your tires are worn and need to be replaced, or there's an issue with the alignment.
  • Decreased fuel economy: Have you noticed a drop in your vehicle's fuel efficiency? That could mean it's time for an oil change, as these services lubricate your fuel system and engine. A drop in fuel economy could also mean you need an oil change or that there's a leak in your fuel system.
  • Leaking fluid: Speaking of leaks, if you notice fluid around your car that is yellow, brown, red, etc., you have a leak either in your engine, fuel system, transmission, brakes, etc. While you should address any size leak immediately, if it's a substantial leak, you'll want to consider towing your car to a service center, as driving could be dangerous.

Now that you're aware of these signs, you'll be better positioned to take care of service at a moment's notice.
