This available driver-assistance feature helps ease the burden of the stressful stop-and-go of a traffic jam by providing control of the vehicle steering, braking and acceleration at speeds under 25 mph. 2 This system is designed for limited-access roadways, and with the driver monitor camera confirming the driver's eyes are on the road, hands-free operation is possible. Traffic Jam Assist requires an active Drive Connect trial or subscription3,4 and is 4G network dependent.
Digital Rearview Mirror With HomeLink® Connected to a camera in the rear, Grand Highlander’s available digital rearview mirror with HomeLink® 5 casts a clearer, wider view of what’s behind you. You can zoom in, zoom out, and adjust the mirror to give you a better perspective. And at night, the camera brightens dark scenes and reduces glare from headlights of vehicles following you.
Panoramic View Monitor Grand Highlander’s available Panoramic View Monitor (PVM)6 helps you check your surroundings for hazards. It uses four cameras to display a panoramic view on the touchscreen display.
