Overview

The 2021 Toyota Prius is equipped with a hybrid motor that produces up to 80 horsepower and 105 pound-feet of torque. A one-speed planetary gear system transfers the driver power to the Prius’ front-drive wheels. The 1.8-liter, four-cylinder hybrid engine gives the Prius exceptional fuel economy with an estimated 58 mpg in the city and 55 on the highway. An AWD drivetrain also is available and improves the Prius’ already great handling and traction capability.

Technology

The Prius comes equipped with Toyota’s excellent Star Safety System to make your travels safer. It includes enhanced vehicle stability control, pedestrian detection, pre-collision warning and emergency braking, and radar-assisted adaptive cruise control. Lane-keeping assistance, automatic high beams, and an integrated backup camera help to prevent accidents.

Interior & Exterior

The Prius sedan has four doors and a rear hatchback that gives you access to more than 27 cubic feet of cargo space. Bucket seats in front and a split rear bench carry up to five passengers. Folding the rear seats expands cargo capacity to 50.7 cubic feet.
